In celebration of World Bicycle Day and to launch the local HEAT project campaign, Tartu city installed seven posters in downtown Tartu. View the posters from here.
The poster campaign was opened on June 3 in one of the mobility hotspots of downtown Tartu by the HEAT project team of the Tartu City government and the other local project partner, the Institute of Baltic Studies. The exhibit is open to visitors for two weeks, after which a few of the posters will be relocated to other visible spots.
The campaign attracted many locals already in the first minutes after opening. It is hoped that the information will help educate citizens on light traffic and cycling, provide more context and information on the HEAT project and HEAT calculations, and inform them of upcoming plans and developments in cycling infrastructure.
